Finding The right supplier is as simple as finding the product, when you know what to sell you will find the supplier that is selling for the least price and with good ratings and fulfillment status on Aliexpress.
At the end of the day you want to make the most out of every single sale, so make sure you take this step very seriously.
After picking your product plus supplier on Aliexpress, the next thing is to set up your dropshipping system.
Connecting Shopify with AliExpress: Streamlining Your Dropshipping Business
This includes creating your Ecwid or Shopify Account, then linking your store to Aliexpress using the Sup Dropshipping plugin. It is very easy to set up, I have shown how to achieve that step by step in the video above. Linking your Ecwid or Shopify store to Aliexpress has many benefits.
AliExpress and Shopify Integration: Benefits and Opportunities
When you link your Aliexpress to Ecwid or Shopify, you will be able to import the products and relevant images and text, automatically, this will allow you to set up your store and stuff it with enough products, within just 1 day. You don't have to manually copy and paste, and you don't even have to fulfill the products, and I am going to tell you why.
With the free sup dropshipping plugin, you get the option to add your own profit above the normal price, and whenever payment for a purchase is completed, you will automatically get your cut and your supplier will get his/hers as well.

Now Ecwid is my go-to guy because it's free, and gives you an automatic way to do dropshipping without the stress of taking ages to populate your store with trendy products or evergreen products.
Ecwid and Shopify support the free Sup plugin but what makes Ecwid a better option is the fact that it allows you to start with a free store setup, unlike Shopify which requires you to get a plan.

Accepting payment with Ecwid is as easy as linking your Payoneer account. Apart from PayPal, Ecwid supports almost all the existing payment gateways in the world, so you won't have any problem going with a payment gateway you are already used to, for example, your PayPal or 2checkout account.
Dropshipping from AliExpress to Shopify: Pros and Cons
Well like I mentioned earlier, one con for me is that you don't get a free forever plan like in Ecwid, Some countries are also not supported by Shopify.
When it comes to conducting business on platforms like BigCommerce and Shopify, it's very important to be aware of the limitations imposed by the United States, Canada, and the European Union. These restrictions primarily target countries and locations subject to sanctions or restrictions, leading to the unavailability of billing and shipping options. Notable examples include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria.
Exploring the Downsides of Ecwid: Considerations for Your Business
Even though I initially hyped Ecwid, Shopify is way more robust and caters to more e-commerce needs, than our trusty Ecwid, but as a complete beginner, I highly recommend starting with Ecwid, if you do not have capital at first, subsequently you can open a second store on Shopify, and compare the user experience.
